Information we collect
Account and settings. We collect the information you provide, such as your goblin name, email address, password in protected form, language, timezone, selected activities, goal, and selected goblin face.
Body profile. If you add it, we collect age, gender, height, weight, and activity intensity to calculate fitness estimates such as calorie targets. Providing this profile is optional.
Fitness and gameplay. We process activity type, date, duration, calories, gym exercise details, sets, repetitions, weight, hydration, tiredness, recovery, attributes, XP, Gems, quests, challenges, achievements, equipment, puzzle battles, monthly boss progress, and related rewards.
Support and diagnostics. We collect bug reports and support messages you submit, together with limited context such as platform and app version.
Purchases and notifications. We process App Store product and transaction identifiers needed to verify Gem purchases. If notifications are enabled, we store an Apple Push Notification service device token and notification status.
Apple Health data
Apple Health access is optional and requires your permission. FitGoblin reads:
- step count for daily step progress and quests;
- sleep duration and sleep time windows for recovery and progress;
- workout records and active energy burned for activity and calorie calculations.
FitGoblin does not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, profiling unrelated to health and fitness, or sale to data brokers. We do not write workout or health samples to Apple Health. You can change FitGoblin's Health access at any time in the Health app or iPhone Settings.
How we use information
- to create, authenticate, and manage your account;
- to record activities and calculate calories, recovery, attributes, progress, and body-profile estimates;
- to operate quests, rewards, achievements, equipment, battles, and other game features;
- to deliver requested notifications in your local timezone;
- to verify App Store purchases and prevent duplicate fulfillment or fraud;
- to provide support, investigate bugs, secure the service, and improve reliability.
When information is shared
We do not sell your personal information or health data. Information may be processed by hosting and infrastructure providers only as needed to operate FitGoblin. Apple processes App Store purchases and push notifications under Apple's own terms and privacy practices. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or to prevent fraud and abuse.
Storage, security, and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections and restricted server access. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide FitGoblin. When you choose Delete Account, account access and active sessions are disabled. Certain records may be retained where reasonably necessary for purchase accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. You may contact us to request access, correction, or erasure of your personal information.
Your choices
- Edit your profile, activities, language, and timezone in the app.
- Change Health and notification permissions in iPhone Settings.
- Use Reset Game to clear gameplay progress without deleting your login.
- Use Delete Account in Profile to disable your account and end active sessions.
- Email us to request privacy assistance or erasure.
Children
FitGoblin is not directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to online services in their country. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as FitGoblin changes. We will post the revised date on this page and provide additional notice when required.
